Make way for Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, world. These three dancing, singing pop stars are here to save you from soul-sucking boy bands—er, demons.
Netflix just dropped the official trailer for KPop Demon Hunters, where idols Rumi, Mira, and Zoey perform to a stadium packed with adoring fans. But once the concert ends, the real show begins: demon hunting. These monsters are stealing fans’ souls—and they’ve leveled up by disguising themselves as the Saja Boys, a new evil boy band.
Do the Saja Boys think they’re that charming? Do these demons-in-disguise really believe they can take over the world one stolen soul at a time? Well… to quote TWICE: “Baby, nice try.” Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung lend their voices to help Rumi, Mira, and Zoey “TAKEDOWN” the demonic boy band threat.
Fans of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and K-Pop will love KPop Demon Hunters for its stylish animation, epic fight scenes, and gut-busting humor. Arden Cho (Teen Wolf) voices Rumi, May Hong (Tales of the City) voices Mira, and Jiyoung Yoo (Until Dawn) plays Zoey. Ahn Hyo-seop (Omniscient Reader) leads the Saja Boys as Jinu. Rounding out the cast are Ken Jeong as Bobby, Lee Byung-hun as Gwi-Ma, and other stars including Yunjin Kim, Joel Kim Booster, Liza Koshy, and Daniel Dae Kim.
Sony Pictures Animation and Columbia Pictures produced the film with Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans directing. Music powerhouses, including TWICE, Lea Salonga, Audrey Nuna, REI AMI, and Kevin Woo, will perform original songs. Producers Danny Chung, KUSH, Jenna Andrews, Stephen Kirk, Teddy Park, and THEBLACKLABEL (a YG Entertainment affiliate) are behind the soundtrack.
