Seven Seas Entertainment announced they have licensed Our Sunny Days during their Wonderful Wednesdays announcements. The Korean BL manhwa delights readers with its adorable and heartwarming story of a single dad moving to the countryside with his baby daughter, where he meets a handsome and gruff village head.
Seokchan writes and illustrates Our Sunny Days, which follows Sung Ho, a man who suddenly becomes a single father when his ex-girlfriend leaves their baby daughter with him, giving him the choice to raise her or put her up for adoption. Since Ho was an orphan himself, he refuses to abandon his daughter and instead moves to the countryside, hoping to build a peaceful life together.
Well…that’s easier said than done, as the village head, Kwon Haebom, immediately confronts Ho upon his arrival, suspicious of his motives for moving there. But as the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child, and soon, Kwon Haebom becomes an important part of Ho and his daughter’s lives.
Lezhin originally launched Our Sunny Days digitally on August 15, 2023, and the series recently concluded its second season on March 18, 2025. Fans will be thrilled to hear that Season 3 is coming soon after a three-to-four-month break, and we’ll finally learn the child’s name!
The publisher’s Webtoons label will print the first volume of Our Sunny Days in full color with a large trim. Vol. 1 lands in bookstores in March 2026 and is priced at $22.99 USD and $29.99 CAD.
