OMNISCIENT READER’S VIEWPOINT fanart contest: this is your time to shine!

Fan artists, it’s to show off your love for ORV!

Ize Press just announced a fan art contest to celebrate the upcoming print release of Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. The main scenario? Create original art of any ORV characters interacting with the English edition of the books. Judges will evaluate entries based on interpretation of the prompt, originality, and composition/technique.

There will be three prize categories:

• Editor’s Choice – The English editor of the ORV novel and comic will select their favorite entry.

• Author’s Choice – ORV creator singNsong will pick their personal favorite.

• Reader’s Choice – Fans will vote in an online poll. The Ize Press team will select semifinalists for this category.

Voting for Reader’s Choice opens on June 16 and closes on June 27 at 10 PM ET. Ize Press will announce all winners on or before June 30.

Quick contest rules:
Details on the rules can be found on Ize Press’s website, but as a quick summary: Anyone 18 or older from anywhere in the world can enter. Entries that include tracing, plagiarism, AI use, or recolored art will be disqualified. Finalists must provide proof of progress (e.g., sketches or timelapse videos). The artwork must feature at least one ORV character, and it must not include characters from other series. And yes, this is a SFW contest!

ORV, written by singNsong, is one of the most popular webnovels today. The story follows Kim Dokja, an ordinary office worker—at least on the surface—who becomes humanity’s secret weapon when the world ends. Why? He’s the only person who’s read the entire story, Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse.

Ize Press first licensed the ORV webcomic, and now the official English print version of the original webnovel is coming, translated by Im Hyeyoung. Cover art, illustrated by Black Box, was revealed earlier this year.

The novel releases on July 22.
