Red Velvet’s beloved subunit, IRENE & SEULGI, has officially announced their comeback!
The news broke through Red Velvet’s official SNS accounts, where fans were treated to five aesthetic teaser images—including one striking photo of a glass containing two nails, and two showcasing the glamorous idols themselves. The caption reads:
“Red Velvet – IRENE & SEULGI ‘TILT’ Image #1-1
Red Velvet – IRENE & SEULGI
The 2nd Mini Album [TILT]
2025.05.26 6PM (KST)”
As noted, TILT will be the duo’s second mini album following their 2020 debut with MONSTER, which dropped on July 6, 2020. That release featured six tracks, including the title song “Monster” and its follow-up single “Naughty.” Originally scheduled for June 15, MONSTER was postponed to July 6 due to additional production needs.
The duo remains the only subunit within Red Velvet. Meanwhile, fellow members like Wendy and Joy have pursued solo music careers with their own mini albums.
Red Velvet is managed by SM Entertainment and made their debut in 2014 with the single “Happiness.” The original lineup featured Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, and Joy, with Yeri joining as the fifth member in 2015 with the release of “Ice Cream Cake.”
Fans can now pre-order TILT, which officially drops on May 26, 2025, at 6 PM KST.
