K-Pop boy group MONSTA X has officially launched a new fan community on Berriz, Kakao Entertainment’s global fan platform.
The new space offers Monbebe, the group’s fandom, a safe and interactive hub to connect with one another and enjoy exclusive content, including music videos, dance practice clips, and behind-the-scenes footage. Fans can also view individual member profiles for Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M, along with photos available only on the app.
MONSTA X debuted under Starship Entertainment in 2015 after forming on the Mnet survival show No.Mercy. The original lineup included Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney (formerly Jooheon), I.M, and Wonho, who left the group in 2019 following allegations that were later proven false. In 2020, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency cleared him of all charges. Since debuting, MONSTA X has become known for blending hip-hop, EDM, and pop, helping to expand K-Pop’s global reach and influence across the fourth generation.
The group most recently released a Japanese single, “Wanted,” on March 19, 2021.
In addition to MONSTA X, IU—one of Korea’s most beloved solo artists—is also set to launch her own fan community on Berriz, bringing even more excitement to the platform.
