Back to Work! is heading to live-action!
According to Naver, the webcomic received the green light for a drama adaptation and has already offered the role of Kang Siwoo, the male lead, to Seo In-guk. Seo’s agency has not yet confirmed whether he will accept the offer. As of this article’s writing, no other casting details have been announced, and the production has not yet revealed a release window.
Seo In-guk made his acting debut with a supporting role in the 2012 romance drama Love Rain. That same year, he earned widespread praise as the lead in Reply 1997. He also starred in Master’s Sun, High School King of Savvy, and Death’s Game. Fans may also recognize him from K.Will’s music videos “Please Don’t…” and its follow-up “No Sad Song for My Broken Heart.” Later this year, Seo will return to the screen in the superhero drama Twelve.
Created by McQueen Studio, Back to Work! launched on Tapas on April 8, 2021, and wrapped up on October 31, 2024, after 140 episodes and more than 540,000 views. McQueen Studio is also known for Secret Relationships—a BL office romance—and Aquaman.
