The top ten heroes of To Be Hero X will make their TV debut in April.
Directed by Link Click’s renowned Li Haoling, the highly anticipated donghua premieres on April 6. A new main PV dropped at Anime Japan 2025. To Be Hero X is a joint production between Bilibili (China) and Aniplex (Japan), with BeDream handling animation and production.
An all-star voice cast brings the top ten heroes to life. Natsuki Hanae voices Nice, a perfectionist ranked tenth. Nobunaga Shimazaki plays E-soul, a mysterious hero in an electrifying suit, ranked ninth. Kōichi Yamadera lends his voice to Ahu, a dapper canine hero in a bowler hat, ranked eighth. Inori Minase portrays Lucky Cyan, a lively, guitar-strumming hero who spreads joy through music, taking the seventh spot. Ayane Sakura plays Loli, a pink-haired hero with a cute yet powerful suit, ranked sixth.
Yoshitsugu Matsuoka voices Little Johnny, a fang-toothed hero always accompanied by his partner. Despite their playful appearance, they form a formidable duo, securing the fifth rank. Yūichi Nakamura plays Ghostblade, a masked hero wielding a knife. His character trailer hints at a tragic past that fuels his strength—earning him the fourth rank. Kōki Uchiyama portrays Dragon Boy, a confident fighter with a love for graffiti and hand-to-hand combat, placing third. Kana Hanazawa brings Queen to life—the elegant, scepter-wielding hero who exudes power and ranks second. Finally, Mamoru Miyano voices the titular hero, X, a suave powerhouse who seamlessly transitions between 2D and 3D animation with a single snap.
Adding to the excitement, Hiroyuki Sawano scores the main theme, “Jeopardy.” SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:Rei performs the opening song “INERTIA,” while SennaRin sings the ending theme “KONTINUUM.”
Fans can rest easy—Crunchyroll has confirmed it will simulcast the donghua.
