It’s Just a Dream… Right?! is the latest BL manhwa licensed by Seven Seas, as the publisher continues to expand its manhwa catalog. Announced during their Wonderful Wednesdays licensing event on March 5, Seven Seas also revealed a special edition for the first volume of a fan-favorite danmei series, which coincidentally will see its live-action adaptation premiere sometime in March.
It’s Just a Dream… Right?!
Written and illustrated by White Eared, It’s Just a Dream… Right?! follows 24-year-old Jungoh, who applies for a job as an assistant after being tempted by its excellent benefits—only to land in an unusual situation. His boss, Ibeom, is a grumpy yet adorable shaman who works inside people’s dreams. On top of assisting with dream-related tasks, Jungoh must also help satisfy Ibeom’s insatiable sexual appetite, a side effect of a nightmare seedling curse.
The manhwa spans 77 episodes, launching on July 10, 2021, and concluding on July 22, 2023. It’s Just a Dream… Right?! marks White Eared’s second work, following their debut manhwa Points of Three.
Seven Seas will release the first volume in November 2025 as part of its Webtoons label, pricing it at $22.99 USD and $30.99 CAD. Readers can also find the series on Tapas.
Silent Reading: Mo Du
Silent Reading: Mo Du ranks among Priest‘s most popular danmei series. Translated by Yuka and Nande M, this thriller follows detective Luo Wenzhou as he unravels one of the city’s darkest mysteries. As he digs deeper into the case, he uncovers a common thread linking the incidents to Fei Du, a wealthy CEO known for his playboy reputation. However, their connection runs far deeper than he initially realizes.
Seven Seas has chosen to release special editions for the first volume of select series. The publisher has already launched a special edition for Sa Ye: Run Wild Vol. 1 and plans to release special editions for Legend of Exorcism: Tianbao Fuyao Lu, Dinghao Fusheng Records, Mistakenly Saving the Villain, Thrice Married to a Salted Fish, and Copper Coins: Tong Qian Kan Shi. The special edition of Silent Reading: Mo Du will include a double-sided bookmark, a detective’s notebook, two police ID badges, and a sticker set featuring exclusive new artwork.
Silent Reading: Mo Du has faced a turbulent adaptation journey. Its live-action series, which aired in mainland China in 2023, was abruptly pulled after only eight episodes in February of that year. However, Japan surprised fans when WOWOW, a Japanese streaming service, announced it would stream all 30 episodes. The first two episodes will debut on March 14 (JST).
Seven Seas has also licensed Guardian: Zhen Hun and Stars of Chaos: Sha Po Lang.
The regular edition is priced at $19.99 USD, while the special edition costs $29.99. A release date has yet to be announced, but the series is slated for a fall release this year, spanning five volumes.
