The physical edition of Under the Oak Tree Vol. 2 has unveiled its cover today, collecting episodes 25-45 of the webcomic.
In a post to X (formerly Twitter) by Inklore, the cover depicts Riftan and Maxi on horseback, gazing at each other affectionately as they ride through an open landscape, with what appears to be Calypse Castle in the background. This design contrasts with the darker-themed Vol. 1 cover, which featured Maxi and Riftan standing apart before a tree, with Riftan turning back to look at her longingly.

Created by Suji Kim and adapted by Seomal and namu, with illustrations by P, Under the Oak Tree is a webcomic based on the original novel by Suji Kim. It follows Lady Maximillian, or Maxi, a noblewoman with a severe stutter who is forced by her father to marry Riftan, a lowborn knight who later becomes a kingdom-wide hero. Vol. 2 of the physical edition centers on Riftan’s return to Anatol, where he finds rogue knights attacking the gates. After the dust settles, he and Maxi finally have time to connect, but Maxi’s deep-seated fears of rejection and inadequacy keep her from opening up to her husband. As she wrestles with doubts and the looming uncertainty of Riftan’s next departure, she begins to realize she might be more capable than she ever thought.
Under the Oak Tree Vol. 2 is slated for a Fall release, with pre-orders now open.
