Seven Seas‘ new BL licenses Roses and Champagne and My Bias is Showing?! couldn’t be more different from each other.
During their Wonderful Wednesday announcements, Seven Seas Entertainment revealed eight new licenses, kicking things off with a sweet BL manhwa about a K-Pop idol and his fan, and ending with a much grittier BL series centered around the Russian mafia—two stories at opposite ends of the spectrum.
My Bias is Showing?!
What’s the worst thing that can happen to a K-Pop stan? For your idol to find out just how deep your obsession runs. That’s exactly what happens to poor high school teacher Na Aejoon, who has been fanboying over A-One’s Choi Siyool for as long as he can remember. He even has a shrine dedicated to Siyool, for crying out loud. Aejoon’s dream—and worst nightmare—comes true when Siyool visits his school to film a drama and shows an interest in him.
Written by Nabit and illustrated by eol, My Bias is Showing?! will release in December 2025, priced at $22.99 USD and $30.99 CAD, under Seven Seas’ Webtoons label. The webcomic is available to read on Tappytoon. A live-action adaptation has been announced.
Roses and Champagne
When Korean-Russian civil rights lawyer Jeong Leewon bumps into a blond, gray-eyed stranger on the street, he thinks nothing of it. But that’s not the case for the blond stranger, Caesar Sergeyev, heir to the Sergeyev mafia empire, who becomes immediately intrigued and attracted to Leewon. Leewon soon finds himself tangled in the complex world of the mafia after visiting a city councilor on behalf of his client, only to discover the councilor’s ties to the mafia underworld. As Leewon digs deeper into this dangerous world, he’ll find it increasingly difficult to escape, especially when the person holding him down is Caesar himself.
Volume 1 of Roses and Champagne will release in September 2025 for $21.99 USD and $28.99 CAD, under Seven Seas’ Webtoons label. Roses and Champagne is available to read on Lezhin, with the webnovel available on Tappytoon.
