The BL webcomic Bend Over Backwards will submit its resignation slip sometime in February.
Creator LattePanda announced on their X (formerly Twitter) account that Bend Over Backwards is set to leave its overseas platform in February, though an exact date has not been revealed as of this article’s writing. This means the webcomic will no longer be available on Lezhin. However, those who purchase the chapters before they are removed will still be able to read them after it leaves the platform.
Bend Over Backwards is an office BL story about Ha Joowon, who meets an attractive blonde stranger while vacationing in Phuket. The two share a steamy one-night stand, and Joowon returns to Korea, leaving both the vacation and the stranger behind. However, he’s shocked to encounter the same man at his office. It turns out the man he spent the night with is international top model Aiden Shin, who has a contract with Joowon’s company. Aiden has no intention of making Joowon’s life easier—he rejects the contract. The only way Joowon can get him to sign it is by agreeing to warm Aiden’s bed for the duration of the contract. Despite his efforts to resist, Joowon can’t help falling for Aiden, complicating their relationship and his feelings in ways he can’t describe.
While Bend Over Backwards starts with a manipulative, one-sided relationship and depictions of sexual harassment, their connection evolves into something sweet and genuine once Joowon and Aiden understand what they mean to each other.
