The publisher for The Beginning After the End comic written by TurtleMe and illustrated by Fuyuki23 in Tapas has released a formal statement regarding the state of the comic adaptation.
Citing ongoing production challenges following the most recent transition to Rise Entertainment for the comic’s production and related to unresolvable differences in the schedules necessary to maintain the comic’s publication schedule, Tapas has made the decision to suspend the comic’s production for three months from August 5 in order to address its production once and for all.
While new chapters will not be published, behind-the scenes content will be published instead throughout the hiatus in order to keep fans engaged while the comic’s production is re-established. The comic’s Season 6 launched in May of this year after months of anticipation and the full statement follows below.
Dear TBATE fans,
We regret to inform you that due to ongoing production challenges, TBATE Season 6 will be going on a temporary hiatus as we transition to a new art studio. While Rise Entertainment has done incredible work, differences in the comic creation ecosystems have affected our ability to stay in sync with our internal schedule.
Our goal has always been to bring you the best possible version of TBATE. To ensure weekly releases and maintain high-quality comics on a sustainable production schedule, we’ve had to make significant transitions within a short time frame. We understand that this news and past hiatuses have been disappointing for fans, and we sincerely apologize for the disruption. Please know that this decision was not made lightly, but for the long-term sustainability of TBATE, this change is essential to align production schedules and ensure consistent, high-quality releases.
As part of this transition, we will be going on a 3-month hiatus. During this time, we will keep you posted with sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes content, so fans may stay informed.
